Default Job Failure, real reason - 11-10-2005 , 11:59 AM

My job is failing at step 1, which checks if a file exists, if not then it
fails.

However, the file does exist, I can run the Pkg w/out error and I can do DTSRun
w/out error.

But that lowly job fails.

I'm running the job as the same user that I log into the system with and have
created the Pkg and Job.

Any clues or where to check?

TIA

JeffP....

Looking further into the NG I found...

Thanks to Darren Green, these links

How can I check if a file exists?

Skip the execution of an individual Task
(http://www.sqldts.com/default.aspx?214)

I see that it's like many things in this world, I must understand the
prespective of the system to enable better control.

TIA

JeffP....
