Default Job Fails - 06-14-2005 , 08:28 AM

I get this error when trying to run a package from a job:

Error: -2147220460 (80040414); Provider Error: 0 (0) Error string:
Cannot find specified package in the storage location specified. Error
source: Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS) Package Help file:
sqldts80.hlp Help context: 713. Process Exit Code 1. The step failed.

I scheduled this job by right-clicking on the package name, but it I then
get this message. I have other jobs that run DTS packages just fine.

Thanks,

Jim

I do dislike the Right click way of things as it hides all your settings in
the ~/Z<long string>

Can you use DTSRUNUI and do the creation of the cmdline and then let us know
if you get the same problem.

Do you have permissions onto the directory in which the package is located?

From a job remember the person executing changes
