Default Interactive User vs Agent - 10-14-2003 , 11:25 PM

Hello all,

I have a bunch of DTS packages on a database that collect data from
different data sources, message the data and outputs to an Access database.
I brought this machine into the Active directory domain and something Wierd
is happening.

A) When I execute the packages manually, everything is fine.
B) When the same packages are executed by SQL Agent, a couple of the
tables never get populated.

Furthermore I have checked to make sure that security context is an admin
account that has rights to all the network resources where the data is being
collected and is written to. What is confusing to me is that the
Interactive execution is fine but scheduled job does not complete. And
there no Errors!!!

Please help.

Log in as the Agent account and run the packages. It is known that
althought the results come back OK from a job sometimes things did not quite
go that way.

Allan,

This is a mission critical application that has been working for more than a
year. All of a sudden it is not working because of bringing it into AD.
The scripts only work when using the same account as the Agent but when the
agent executes it, things go wrong. Is there a solution for this?
