Default Installing Samples from sqldts.com - 05-24-2005 , 09:01 AM

Ok... I know this is probably a VERY dumb question, but how can I install
the sample files (*.dts) into SQL Server? I searched the server for *.dts,
with no results.

Thanks,
Drew

If I understand this right, you're searching the "OpenPackage" Menu in
Enterprise Mananger?
Just right click the DTS Node in the left tree view ;-)

Thanks, I thought that I had to copy the file into a certain directory on
the SQL Server. I tried right-clicking on everything I could see except for
the main DTS node.

Thanks,
Drew

good idea.
Now we need only a scheduled autopost saying
"If you have any questions about DTS, first look at www.sqldts.com" ;-)

BTW: Do you have some trouble with your site? In the last days I got some server busy errors or even no response.

The hosting provider has a habit of kicking the SQL server. Should
always get a formatted page, with a sorry message. Not seen a nasty
error myself.
