Default Insert into Lotus Notes - 11-18-2003 , 10:56 AM

Does anyone know if it is possible to use DTS to insert
data into a Lotus Notes database? The Parse/Show
Parameters button on the Query Tab does not work when a
Lotes Notes database is specified as the destination.
I'm useing the NoteSQL 3.02c ODBC driver from Lotus.
Please advise.

The parameters and whether it let's you use the assignments (?) is driver
specific. What is the source statement you are trying to use?

I'm trying to pull data from a AS/400 DB2 database.
Should be useing a Data Trransformation instead of a Data
Query task? Thanks

DataPump task.

A DDQ is only really, IMHO, useful if you want to perform multiple row based
ops on the source data as it enters the destination. I use it to load the
warehouse.

I attempted to do a Transformation DataPump between SQL
Server and Lotus Notes and DTS returns "error occurred at
Destination", no further details are provided. The
NotesSQL driver does not appear to like the Insert
statement that DTS is generating. Has DTS been proven to
work using Lotus Notes as a destination?
