Is there a way to run a DTS package to import Access data when the MDB has an associated MDW file? I have a valid username and password, but I can't open the MDB within DTS . I can open the MDB, export the data to an unprotected MDB, then import the data from that, but I'd rather use the root file. |

Why can you not open the MDB in DTS? I assume you get an error, and supplying details does help. Have you set the MDW in the advaned property "System database"? You may also need to set it in the registry - How To Use a SQL Server 7.0 Distributed Query with a Linked Server to Secured Access Databases (http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;246255) -- Darren Green http://www.sqldts.com http://www.sqlis.com "Ghost Dog" <caspar (AT) friendly (DOT) com> wrote in message news:%234i3GeVkFHA.3960 (AT) TK2MSFTNGP12 (DOT) phx.gbl...
