Hello Friends, I have created a DTS package and created workflow connections between my different tasks. I also changed the default Task and Step names as per my conventions. All of the individual steps execute fine. However, when I try to run the package as a whole, it stops afer the first task is executed. I checked the 'Disconnected Edit' property and found that each of my step has two preceding constraints. One is the new step-name I gave and the other the default step-name given by DTS(e.g. DTSTask_DTSPump_xxxx). I dont have the default step-name anywhere in my package anymore but still it shows up as a preceding constraint. I believe this is stopping the package from executing further. I tried deleting all the workflow connections and setting them up again but it did not work. Is there any way I can get rid of the unwanted preceding constraints ? I dont see them in the workflow properties. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks & Regards, Hemil. |

Stops with what? Errors or just stops? If you had left behind old names that no longer existed I would expect your package to fail with an error indicating this. Are you maybe seeing this? Hi Allan, Sorry, I should have given more details. The package just stops after executing the first step. It gives a message 'Package successfully completed'. The status of the first task is 'Complete' Alll the other taks have status as 'Not Run' It does not give any errors related to task or step. Thanks, Hemil. "Allan Mitchell" wrote: Stops with what?
