Default How to do a clean uninstall of SQL Server to cleanup the DTS mess - 06-07-2004 , 06:47 AM

Hello All

I have installed SQL Server 2000 I keep getting DTS Designer error
with some control unintelligble characters when I call ActiveX Script
task and it does not show any language.

I have the same problem I place source and target destinations and
then connect them with the Transform Data Task and it just does not
work it comes with DTS Designer Error. I have uninstalled SQL Server
from Control Panel > Add/Remove rebooted the system and reinstalled
SQL Server. Despite it the same error comes back everytime I reinstall
SQL Server.

I am short of tearing my hair. I am asking for reimaging Windows but
my Manager is refusing to get Windows reimaged.

Can somebody show me a way from this hell. I am surprised MSFT does
not have a solution to the nagging problem.

What is the way to cleanup SQL Server completely please advise.

Thanks
Simon
