i need to pick some part of the data from excel and write in to the
another excel sheet.

Hi,

Your best bet would probably be to use the MS Excel objects library from
within vbscript. You would be able to open, create and manipulate
spreadsheets.

To use this on the server you would need the object library installed on the
server (MS Excel).

Can you use CSV?
