Hi All, I have an an ssis package with a lot of sql tasks. After finishing the first task it goes to the next and so on. All tasks on error (the red line) go to one sql task where I update the status of the request. How do i get the actual error message in the the error Sql task TIA |

I, too, have agonized over this one. Use the Expression Editor and look for a variable called [System::Source]. That should contain the name of the offending Task. However, I have to tell you that I have only accessed this variable from withing the Event Handler portion and cannot say for certain that it is available in the regular Control Flow.
