Default General access denied error when running DTSWizard.exe in SQL2005 - 10-19-2006 , 12:16 PM

Sorry, it's the DTSWizard.exe, not DTSMigrationWizard.exe in my last post.
----------------

When I run DTSWizard.exe in SQL2005, I get a "General access denied
error." I have both SQL2000 & SQL2005 installed on my WinXP professional.

Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for using Microsoft Managed Newsgroup. I appreciate your
understanding that our managed newsgroup policy do not allow duplicated
posts here. In fact, I have replied you under your other post, but I would
like to assist you under this post for further going because of your more
correct information here.

My understanding of your issue is that:
You encountered the error "General access denied error." when you ran
DTSWizard.exe. Your SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 were
installed on your Windows XP Pro.
If I have misunderstood, please let me know.

To let me better understand your issue, could you please tell me at which
step you encountered the error? What is the edition of your SQL Server
2005? I appreciate that you could mail me (changliw (AT) microsoft (DOT) com) some
screenshots regarding this issue.

Also, for further research, I would like your mailing me the system event
error logs and the log file specified during the Migration Wizard.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to let me
know. It's my pleasure to be of assistance.

Sincerely yours,
Charles Wang
