Default Frozen Lineage Problem - 10-04-2005 , 09:53 AM

Hi,

When I Try to run my DTS Package I get the error:
"Error string: This version of the current DTSPackage is frozen in the
Repository. Its Lineage cannot be written or removed."

Any ideas on what is happening?

Thanks a Lot

Well I never use the Repository so have never met the error either.
Maybe someone else can come in here.

Have you recently upgraded to SP3 at all as this changed the behaviour
slightly.
When did it last work? What has changed since?

I have upgrated to SP3 before I started the DTS development, so I do
not think that this is the problem.

It was working fine, I saved the package and it worked. Afterwards I
changed a Execute SQL task and tryed to save it again and it showed me
the error message.

I have unmarked tho Save Lineage and the Resolvel Repository Options
and it saved fine (Lineage will not work I believe). If I set Lineage
and repository options back on, the package won't save.

I have other packages that are working OK. However, I'm worried that
their lineage may stop working to (It has already happened to another
package)

I really need help.

Thanks
