Format files

Hi
Any easy way to make a format file based on a text file
using excel. I have heard references to this but have been
unable to do it

Not sure what you mean by "Using Excel" but this article may help in BOL

Actually this question is specific to BI Accelerator.
Although I modify the format files they get overridden. I
ca,e across references saying that a modification is
possible via excel. Hence the question
