Default ...follow up...to SQL 2005, DTS, problems .... - 02-09-2006 , 02:30 PM

When editing DTS 2000 packages in SQL 2005, I've also noticed that:

1. When deleting any task in the designer, you CAN NOT simply right click
the task, and delete, you must highlight the task and delete with the
keyboard's delete button.

2. ActiveX script tasks are not displayed with the correct icon. You must
create a new task, after copying your script code and pasting it into the new
task. The new tasks displays the correct icon. Although the old task/icon
parses correctly; it doesn't display correctly.

3. Any SQL task does not display correct colors. Normally, T SQL displays
blue in color, comments (--) are green. But, in SQL 2005, a T SQL tasks
displays black in color.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Roz,

But it works right?

I have a DTS 2K package in my Legacy folder in SQLWB. It contains an Ax
Script task. Everything in it displays correctly.
