Default "flat file source" missing in selection of import data types - 12-07-2005 , 11:41 AM

I've installed SQL Server 2005 both on my desktop system and on a Windows
2003 server. I'm wondering why the "flat file source" selection is available
in the list of import data types on the server but not available on my
desktop system. Most of the selections are the same in both cases but the
flat file source is not available. Is there anyway to get that to show up in
the list of available data sources on my desktop system? SSIS is installed on
both my desktop and server systems.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Not sure why it is not there, but check for the file -
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\90\DTS\PipelineComponents\FlatFileSrc.dll

That file is there but the Flat File Source selection isn't showing up in the
list of available data sources. Should I just re-register the dll to fix that?

There's 3 listings for MediaCatalogDB... OLE DB providers in the place where
the Flat File Source should be... what is that coming from?
