Default Flat file import skipping records - 08-04-2005 , 11:16 AM

Hi, I'm new to sql,

Importing a large flat file (positional text) into MSSQL using DTS, records
are occassionally skipped. On two spot checks I found records present in the
input file but missing in MSSQL. No errors were generated during import.

Please help
Thanks

Have you checked the data file extra commas or single quotes. This
sometimes causes problems with the imports.
