Default "File Connection Manager" for package logging - 12-04-2006 , 03:09 PM

When I enabled logging on a package, I was asked to give a unc path and
filename.
My options were (and still are)
Create File
Existing file
Create Folder
Existing Folder

Ocassionally, I clean out the log files directory. So I option I look
for is:
If the file is there, append to it; if not create it.

How can I get this functionality from the logging "File Connection
Manager?"

Thanks,
IanO

Hello IanO,

The CreateFile DtsFileConnectionUsage type should be OK for you.

CreateFile = Creates a file. The option creates the file only if it does
not already exist.
