Hi,
I would like to see only error messages of packages that
fail. I have setup packages that import data from text
files that are FTP from the AS400. I have a file that all
failed error messages go to, but my problem is that
successful messages are also going there. In DTS package
properties under the logging tab, I have checked (fail
package on first error). How do I send only failed package
messages?

I do not thin you can filter what gets sent to the text file. Nice thought
though and if you want to see this feature (Maybe a toggle ON/OFF) in a
future release you may want to give these guys a mail
