Can any one give me an idea in how to plan the popluation of Fact Table
in a ware house ?.

Personally I would read

"The Data Warehouse ETL Toolkit" by Mr Kimball et al

A Fact table is nothing more than a group of facts with foreign key
references to Dimension tables that act as Discriminators for the data.

A fact without context is meaningless
A fact with context (discriminators) is information.
Information in the hands of the right people is knowledge.
