Default extra carriage return at bottom of exported text file using DTS - 08-03-2004 , 09:33 AM

Hi,
I'm new to DTS and I'm having trouble with exporting a table to a fixed-width text file. The problem that I'm having is that I'm ending up with a carriage return so that there is an extra line at the bottom of the extracted text file.

I have tried various settings including only a carriage return and no line feed, I've tried going into the "define columns" property of the destination file and checked the columns to be binary (binary switch fixed extra returns when using a copy command to concatenate files, so I figured I'd give that a try).

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mark McKenzie
