Default Export table to csv file - 07-02-2005 , 03:40 PM

I can't seem to get a pretty simple task to work.

The plan is, I have a list of tables I want to export to a directory (saved
in a table also) - all the tables have the same structure.

I want DTS to create the .csv tables (we can guarantee they're not there).

In the designer, I drag on a database, and a file destination. I connect
them with a data pump.
The designer complains if I select any fields.
The DTS complains when I run it if I haven't selected any fields.

Is there a sample out there for this?

Help?

THanks in advance

- Nevyn

At what point do you get the errors?
What error messages do you get?

There is an example here of doing similar to what it is I think you want to
do.

Building a Package in the DTS Designer
