Default Existing connections are more than actual connections in dts package. - 04-11-2005 , 05:56 PM

I accidentally renamed my connection (Text source) and now I have two
connections in the list of existing connection (when I add a dynamic
property,I will see them),my old name and the new name. How can I delete the
old one?

Thanks

Add another text file connection
Make it a clone of the one you want to delete.
Delete the connection you just added.

Help?

I don't know how to make it clone of the original conneection.I try to add
another connection using the same name ,it says that the names are unique. It
dosen't let me do that.
Thanks

When you add the connection you open it up and you can choose one of the
two radio buttons

1. New Connection
2. Existing connection

In the dropdown for existing connection you should see your connection

You want #2
