Hi All



I have a DTS package which uses an "Execute Process Task" to run a BAT file
which is on the server's C:\.

What happens is I setup the task by browsing to the file. And then test it
by selecting "Execute Step". The execution succeeds every time I try it until
I save and close the package. As soon as I re-oopen the package and try to
execut the step again it returns:

"CreatePRocessTaks 'DTSTask_DTSCreatePRocessTask_2': Process returnd code 1,
which does not match the specified SuccessREturnCode of 0."



Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Bouce,

Is that the only error message? Seems like it is trying to run, but
the BAT file isn't working ... usually when SSIS fails it produces a
number of error messages, and sometimes the one that is the actual
problem is not apparent

Unfortunately that is the only error I see. I literally set the path,
successfully run the step. then sace and close my package and re-open just to
execute that step again and get this message... if I re-select the path
again it works again...
