Default Excel and other connections disappeared from DTS designer - 07-18-2003 , 07:50 AM

My DTS designer has only these connections:

-SQL Server
-Text file
-Microsoft data link
-Other connection

and Excel, Access, HTML and other are missing.

I am suspecting this is a result of SP3, but SP3a seem didn't fix the
problem.

Is it a known issue?

Thanks,

-Stan

There are more than one PC affected by this and the only common reason is
SP3 although I am not sure....

Hi Stan,

Have you reinstalled latest MDAC as suggested by Allan?

Could you perform the following steps to check if it is successful? If
there is error message, please let me know.
1. Create a .udl file and then double-click it.
2. Click Provider tab. What providers did you see?

When I create an empty udl file and click on it, I have this message:

Properties you entered cannot be saved because the Data Link file is
inaccessible.
Ensure that the hard drive or network share is still available.

Is it MDAC issue? I have never seen this before...
