Default Excel DTS - 02-18-2005 , 05:44 AM

Hi

I am trying to import some data from an excel spread sheet in to sql using a
DTS and Excel 97 - 2000 data source (I have also tried importing with Excel
4.0 and 5.0 datasource). I am getting a problem were data is ignored if it
does not match the type of the first row. An example of the data is shown
below:-

Does anyone know if there is a way around this? I don't really want to edit
the file as I would like to automate the import.

Thanks

Gary
