Default Error while Runing the DTS - 01-04-2006 , 04:30 AM





Connection 'DatabaseName' for Task 'DTSTask_DTSExecuteSQLTask_5' does not
support joining distributed transactions or failed when attempting to join.
Unable to enlist in the transaction.
New transaction cannot enlist in the specified transaction coordinator.

I have Checked the DTC service in both server and Client it is running....

i am changing the Old DTS ...I guess prob in Connection...it has many
connection (more than 5 Connection)...

Hello Shiv,

My guess would be that either the DTC is not actually started somewhere or
that the "DatabaseName" connection is not what you think it is.

Hi Allan,I am sure there was mess in connection ...it has some 8 to 9
unwanted connection...I have Created new package with all the Task it is
working fine...
