I work at a hospital that has an ICU program called CareVue that has an
AllBase Database. We are attempting to import data from the database into MS
SQL Server. When we attempt to import, we get an error…
“Error Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
Error Description: ODBC driver does not support the requested properties
Context: Error calling OpenRowSet on the provider.”
We can view the linked tables in Access using the ODBC driver and then
upsize them to SQL server but this is not a desirable method since we would
like to automate the import. Do you happen to have any idea why the ODBC
driver works in Access but not in SQL Server?
