Default Error Message from SMTP Mail Task - 06-03-2005 , 08:31 PM

I successfully installed the 1.1.0.0 (May 31 2005) version of the SMTP
Mail Task (available at www.sqldev.net). But when I try to add this task
to a new DTS 2000 package, an "mmc.exe - Entry Point Not Found" error
pops up. The detailed message is: "The procedure entry point
GetAddrInfoW could not be located in the dynamic link library
WS2_32.dll". There is a KB Support article that mentions this error, but
offers no work-around. Any ideas (I understand that this is corrected in
Windows Server 2003, but unfortunately we're still on Windows 2000)?

Thanks,
