Default Error creating file mapping view... - 01-18-2005 , 10:47 AM

....Not enough storage is available to process this command.

The file I'm try to import is a text file. There are 874,000+ records and
each record is 856 bytes long. This is for SQL2000

I have successfully imported previous files from the same source with more
than 900,000 records in them. So I'm not sure why it won't even preview the
first 200 records in this particular case. Far as I know, nothing's changed
from previous runs.

In fact, it was able to import with no problem the last time the file was
created back in October and it has almost 900,000 records. So why won't it
work this time. Same server as last time too. Not enough memory or
resources?

Thanks for your help

Whilst not for 2000

Does this happen on Preview or elsewhere?

If you forget about preview can you carry on?
