I have a number of packages saved in repository with lineage & scanning
switched on. As soon as I click on 'MetaData' under the DTS folder, I get
this popup :

"An ActiveX control on this page might be unable to interact with other
parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?" ( + Yes/No
buttons).

I click yes and all seems well until I drill down to table names from
metadata packages. When I click on an underlined table name, I get this
message :

"A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug?
Line 0 Error: cannot use parentheses when calling a sub"

I say 'No' to this. Thereafter things sometimes appear to work OK, sometimes
throw up further error messages. Does anyone know how to fix this? This is
SQL2000 Enterprise SP3a on Windows 2003 advanced server.

Did you try installing the latest updates for Internet
Explorer? Or try reinstalling Internet Explorer?
