dynamic properties qn

Hi
when I create an environment variable (using properties of my computer on the desktop) the posibility to choose my newly created variable doesn't appear in the dynamic properties dropdown. Any ideas what I am doing wrong

Yes you will in the Dynamic Properties task. A quick test says that you
will see User and Server wide Env Variables but only those created by the
system, or at least that was my impression

You create global variables in your DTS designer...I suggest you do some
reading on DTS global variables...
