Default dtsrun @ sql2k 64-bit - 12-01-2004 , 03:23 AM

Hi ng,

I've a problem with our SQL Server 2000 64-bit. I have to migrate from SQL
Server 7.0 to SQL Server 2000 64-bit.
While testing the planned tasks on the new server I've established that
dtsrun generates an error:
"'DTSRUN' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable
program or batch file."
The dtsrun.exe is nowhere on the harddisk an even not on the installation CD.
I've read in MS books online for SQL Server 2000 (64-bit) the following
sentence:
"...All the command prompt utilities available for the 32-bit version of SQL
Server 2000 are also provided with SQL Server 2000 (64-bit). ..."
But where can I find this dtsrun.exe (64-bit).

Thanks in advance,
Frank

SQL 64-bit does not support the DTS runtime, it is just available as a
storage location for DTS.
