Default DTS from UNIX - 09-11-2003 , 04:43 AM

Does anyone know the best way to transfer a large text
file directly from a directory in a UNIX server into SQL
Server 2000. The main issue here is not to transfer to the
Win2k o/s but directly into SQL Server. So a straight
direct transfer.

Cheers.

If you create a mount point on the Unix box (which I believe is the same as
a share in windows) and then have NFS loaded onto the Windows box you may be
able to see it.

Don't work much with Unix so this is untested.

Thanks for the update. When you say NFS do you mean NTFS?
