Default DTS Transfer Login Error - 01-16-2004 , 11:12 AM

I tried to transfer the logins from on server to another
and received this error message.

"Your SQL Server Service is running under the local system
account. You need to change your SQL Server Service
account to have rights to copy file over the network."

How do you change the sql service account to have rights
to copy files over the network?

Thanks

Right click the Server in EM | Properties | Security

Look down the bottom.

use a valid domain acct with the necessary privileges

I hate to sound ignorant, but does that mean if I am an
administrator of a machine called myMachine, then I would
use :
myMachine\myusername
myPassword

?

You are not ignorant. Use a Domain Account not a local account
