Default DTS / TextFile / FTP - 10-08-2003 , 01:15 PM

Hello All & Greetings.

I am looking for any suggestions / examples for the following.

I want to creat a DTS PAckage to do the following:

1. Per Schedule, run a SQL query - periodically.
2. Export the result set to a Text File.
3. Schedule the above TextFile to be FTP'd to another destination.

I am looking for any suggestions / How-TOs / examples, etc and would
apprecaite any help in this matter incl. actual steps, links, ref material,
etc.

Thanks in advance to all.

RK

Sorry, don't know where exactly.

I use FTP within some DTS packages.

I use the 'Execute Process Task' to invoke a Batch .BAT file, the BAT file
contains the FTP commands.
