In trying to open a DTS package from SQL Enterprise Manager, I am getting an error: "Package Error" in title bar of the error pop-up and the error message: "Error Source : Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS) Package" with the second line of the error message: "Error Description: The system cannot find the file specified." This occurs on the open of DTS Package from SQLEM on one of my programmer's PCs, but does not occur on my PC. We are both connected to SQL Server as "sa". If she logs into the Server directly - with the same User ID - she is able to access the DTS package OK. My first guess was a permissions problem on the directory containing the data files which are used as input inside the DTS package, but since she can access the directory and can open the package on the server directly, I have ruled out a file permissions problem. I did a "File -> Save As" to export the package to VB to examine it to see if there were any files specified without a UNC path, but that too proved fruitless. She is having the same problem with accessing other DTS packages on more than 1 server - with the same error message. Please help. Thanks In Advance, Paul D.
