When adding Send Mail task to a DTS package, I receive the following error message: "Unable to get MAPI profiles" This is received before the display of the mail configuration screen. SQL Mail is running and jobs are sending e-mail messages successfully to defined operators. I would appreciate any help in solving this problem. |

SQL Mail requires a MAPI profile for the service account, and the profile is on the server, but I guess you are building packages on a workstation machine. Your user on that local machine needs a MAPI client and profile. -- Darren Green (SQL Server MVP) DTS - http://www.sqldts.com PASS - the definitive, global community for SQL Server professionals http://www.sqlpass.org . |
