Default DTS scheduled package fails - 05-24-2004 , 04:29 PM

Having studied inf 269074 I am bemused. On a win 2003
server with SQL2000 SP3 I have made a trivial package
(because the complicated ones wont run scheduled)and it
will not run as a job. I can set it to be admin owned,
run SQL agent as admin and still get no joy. All packages
run fine in EM and from command line, they only access
local machine files and databases. On Win2000 and sql2000
everything works as expected. This is a new installation,
any ideas would be appreciated. If i just run dtsrun as a
job it completes OK, give it a simple select and save as
csv package and it fails! Thanks

Have you tried enabling a package error log to see what error it gives when
it fails?

Yes I did, it was always a can't find file or can't start
process step 1. I found that if I cut and paste the
command line generated by DTSUI.exe everything works, but
not if I enter the command line into the job myself,
weird. Thanks for your help.
