Hi.
I am trying to design a package and get an error when I
try to define a transformation with ActiveX script for a
data driven task.
Environment: SQL 2000, 8.00.760 SP3
Error: Package error. Unspecified error.
Data Driven Query--> Transformations-->New-->ActiveX
script.

Any pointers?

If it is only happening when you try to create an Active X Script then look
at this
