HI All,

I have a package which transfers dat from access to sql
server.Access.mdb file is located on network ,when i
created the package i picked the path from browse
window.it runs fine from my machine but if i try to
execute it from other machine it cannto copy tables,how do
i set a universal path for this connection.

Any advice would be helpful.

take the network unc name like '\\machine\dir..\..mdb'
should work

Uwe ,thanks for your time.
DTS Connection doesn't allow me to pick unc name
and oledb provider gives me errors when i pick
\\machine\..\my.mdb etc,works fine if i pick mapped drive.

i am working out with udl file on each machine which is
not a good idea.
if possible let me know how to set \\machine\dir
googled everywhere and tried on my machine ,doesn't work
some oledb error 80004005 as usual.
