Default DTS - Oracle Driver 8i Error - 05-13-2004 , 02:05 AM






Hi All ,

I have an issue when transferring the data from ORACLE
8i to SQL Server 2000.
The are no network issue for both Database , my SQL
server already apply the service pack 3.The configuration
of oracle is fine.
But when I create a DTS package and drag the oracle
connection icon the package and key in the server name,
user id and password properly and click on OK button.
This error message prompt up :
" Error Source : Microsoft OLE DB provider for ODBC
Drivers
Error Description : Microsoft ODBC driver for oracle
[oracle] "

Hope someone can help me up on this

Did you install the Oracle client on the SQLServer?
