Where can I find SSIS DTS objects and methods so that I can understand and
use it in the script component etc?

BOL is greatly improved since DTS and you should be able to get a whole raft
of info from there. Donald Farmer has a book out there for Scripting in
SSIS (Rational Guide series) and although I have not read it myself I know
people who have and they love it.
