Default DTS not completely imported my text file - 03-11-2005 , 12:57 AM






Hi,
when imported fixed length text file to database the result is not
completed, not all rows in the text file were imported by DTS.
What happend with this....

How many rows were missed?
Just the last?

Could it be the file is not terminated correctly?

After checking the data, i found the only odd rows that imported, while
even rows is not imported.

Heck the terminators on each even line.

Perhaps in the first instance you should check the terminators, then move on
to hecking.

OK Allan/Darren
Thanks for your help...after check again to the data, i found that the last
column in my data was not always appear (sometime blank). I swap the column
order and then it's all works =)
