In the early stages of evaluation and what is needed software wise to migrate
to SQL Server 2005. Currently, SQL Server 2000. I have some DTS packages. I
know that DTS has been replaced by SSIS.

Questions:

1. I don't want to purchase a license for each developer for 2005. Is
Management Studio Express okay to use for viewing databases, tables,
procedures? I'm assuming that update is available.

2. Are DTS packages viewable using Management Studio Express?

The plan is to connect to the DB using MSMSE and be able to edit the DTS
packages.
