DTS -- Local Packages

In DTS I've created some local packages while I was signed
on as "sa". The packages work fine and are scheduled
appropiately. The jobs under owner I have a different user
and that user is the user asigned to the SQLagent. and it
all works perfectly.

However, when I change the "sa" password. the jobs STOP
working. I change the the password back, everything
starts working again.

How do I fix this without having to re-create the packages
and scheduled JOBS?

Hi Ricardo,

What error does the job report? Please right-click the job, click "View Job
History", select "Show step details", for a "Failed" job, please post the
detaield error message.

I am not sure if you use any SA account to connect in the DTS package.

Ricardo,
I posted exactly the same question few days ago and
nobody answered. I guess the response is to use windows
authentication when saving the package... Otherwise,
you'll always have to save (Save As) your dts package
under new user credentials (password), and schedule new
job over again.
