Hi, I am having an issue with DTS's on a SQL Server installation on a server that is in a DMZ. I can create a DTS no problem and add whatever elements that are needed and can save it OK. However when I go to open the DTS package again from Local Packages it fails to open. The error message I get back is "Error Source: Mircosoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server.....Server does not exist of access is denied" Dont know why. This would be the case even if there is no Database connection within the DTS. Passwords etc... are all OK. I would appreciate your help on this. Regards, Kevin. |

Did someone do anything funky to the security of the msdb database on your DMZ server? All I can think of, if the logins and passwords are OK. All kinds of domain login/security problems can occur, of course. J.
