Default DTS install - 06-09-2005 , 11:11 AM

We are using SQL v8 from the newest version of ACT! (v2005). We'd like to use
DTS to transfer data in and out of ACT! to an MS SQL server. The ACT server
is on the local LAN and the MS SQL server is at our hosting site outside of
the firewall. We'd prefer to not initiate DTS transfers from outside
(requiring poking holes in the firewall). Is it possible to just iinstall
DTS from the SQL install CD on the internal server?

If so, where on the CD can I find the install package?
Thanks for your help.
Deane

The minimum requirements to execute a DTS package are listed in Redist.txt.
AN article covering this can be found here-

Redistributing DTS with your program
(http://www.sqldts.com/default.aspx?225)

To design and execute a package, just install the management tools, by
running setup, and don't install the server component.
