Default DTS GPF's when adding 36 or more columns - 11-19-2003 , 07:59 PM

While trying to export data from an Access table to flat file, DTS will
crash Enterprise Manager MMC and return a memory error when there are a
large number of columns in the table or select statement. The GPF
occurs when you try to define the destination. Is this a bug or am I
doing something wrong? It works fine with select statements with under
30 columns. I get the same result when exporting from a SQL DB. This
is definitely related to the number of columns in the select statement
or in the table if you're dumping the entire table. I get the same
result when selecting a single record with 35 or more columns. I'm
running SQL 2000 SP3 on XP. Any assistance is appreciated.

Did you just apply SP3? This is a known issue.
