Default DTS Flat File Import - delimiters not saved if more than 100 colum - 02-09-2006 , 03:36 PM

Hello All,

I setup the DTS package to import a file with more than 100 columns. In the
Properties dialog, I select the fixed field, and then proceed to the next
screen to define the fixed field column positions. However, if the file
contains many columns (e.g. 100+, but I am not exactly what's the exact
number this problem begin to occur), the delimiters are not retained and they
disappear if you open the properties dialog box after you have saved the
package. Has anyone encountered this and/or is there a workaround for this?

Thanks for your help.
