Default DTS falied to acces file on drive D - 01-13-2005 , 09:02 AM

Hi,

I made a very simple DTS Strutured Storage File with a connection to a SQL
Server and a bulk insert. If I try to use data file on drive C everything
is OK but if I try it On Drive D it failed. I checked permission on both
drive and everything are the same. I put full control to everyone on drive
D and it still failed. I put my DTS Strutured Storage File on drive D and
it still failed. The system are Windows 2003 Server without SQL Server. I
install DTS files and register it like they said (files from SQL Server
2000).

Does somebody have any idea to help me?

Thank you

Dany

I take a script from Microsoft and the only thing it said is failed or
succeed. I forgot to said that I use an ASP(vbscript)script to use a
DTS.Package object. I use LoadFromStorageFile method to use my dts file.

Make sure you have a look here then

Execute a package from Active Server Pages (ASP)

I used a similar script except for the method I use LoadFromStorageFile. So
why it Work from c:\ but not in the d:\ if the server has the same
persission on both drive?
